ABOUT THE WORK
My work is an attempt to make an interior world visible. We all carry a rich, private inner life that no one else can fully see. Through painting, I give form to some of mine, hoping the work sparks memory or imagination in someone else.
I build paintings through layers, allowing color, texture, line, and the movement of my tools to lead the way. The process is intuitive and often takes me somewhere I didn’t expect.
The landscapes that appear are not depictions of particular places. They are shaped by what I’ve seen and experienced, filtered through memory and creativity.
